Come to Red Hen Farm and Orchard in Missoula, MT for a couples retreat. This retreat is primarily comprised of John Gottman’s Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work program. There will be time for you and your partner to discuss and “practice” the tools explained during the program as well as some built in time to enjoy the beauty of the farm, learn useful mindfulness practices and pick/eat raspberries.
While this work is challenging, there is always laughter and joy that bubbles up. There is a realization that you are not alone and that all relationships have their ups and downs. This is an investment in the most important commitment of your life, as well as, the most important people in your life, you, your partner, your family.
This retreat and program is for anyone who wants their relationship to thrive, whether they be deeply in love or needing to renew/remember that love. The content is extremely well researched and actively aids couples in: deepening their friendship, managing their conflict, honoring their own and their partner’s dreams, and creating shared meaning. The skills and concepts taught in this program are for ALL couples. (You do NOT need to be married.) The hope at the end of the program is that couples leave with practical tools that will enhance and improve their relationships while also having a general understanding of the science/research behind these tools.
