Hello everyone! We are on to our next workshop this spring! The last workshop integrating Abundance, Generosity, Mindfulness and Garden Boxes, was so successful! We had over 15 attendees, the evening was beautiful and the energy was joyful. Attendees were able to make two boxes due to the support from Thrivent financial in town. The extra box was then gifted by each attendee to someone they felt could use a little gardening joy. One attendee was a veteran and was excited to give it to a veteran friend. A couple of other attendees were giving their extra boxes to their young children, others gave to elderly parents. We also learned the science behind mindfulness and how just a little time awake to the moment can go a long way to our overall health!
Now we turn our attention to the next workshop! We hope you can join us! We would like to focus on the wee creatures that bring abundance to everything from our gardens, orchards all the way up the mountains to the wildflowers and huckleberries and beyond! We have a fairly simple design for native bee hotels and would like to share that with you so that you can build your own for your yard, patio or garden. We will also take a little time to practice garden mindfulness and to learn the science behind the benefits of the garden to our gut biome and our mental health.
