Living Well Retreat for Women- September 11-13
Calling all women 35-65 years of age! We invite you to Red Hen Farm and Orchard for a weekend to learn and to connect with other women entering or currently in perimenopause and those who have made it through. The weekend begins Friday at 5:30pm and concludes Sunday at 3pm. Meals provided, camping available on-site (for purchase). Go home with excellent science based knowledge about perimenopause, mindfulness and movement, as well as a plan for your taking care of your physical and mental needs during this exciting and challenging time of life.
This is an opportunity to learn about yourself and your body and to really delve into the medical and mindful ways you can take excellent care of yourself during perimenopause and after perimenopause. Most likely you have devoted thousands of hours to others, which is good, but now, take a weekend for yourself. Make time to focus on what you need right now in order to be the woman you want to be.
The weekend will be broken into several seminars about the science of women’s health led by Dr. Courtney Hathaway M.D. and practices for self-awareness/compassion and renewal through the science of mindfulness led by Julie Engh Peters PCC Life Coach. We will also have sessions about nutrition, fitness, movement and bone health with special guest Lisa Hamilton DPT and PCC Wellness Coach. And don’t forget, plenty of time for rest, social connection, fresh local fruit and the healing power of Red Hen Farm, as well as, being surrounded by the natural beauty of Western Montana!
When purchasing tickets hold your spot with the non-refundable $100 ticket. If you would like to pay in full purchase BOTH the non-refundable $100 deposit ticket and the main ticket. Refund of $395 will be given if cancellation happens by or before August 15.

Friday September 11th
4:30-5:30pm – Arrival: Camping guests check-in and Participant check-in opens.
5:30pm – Introductions
6:00pm – Arrival Practice – Mindfulness with Julie – setting our intentions for the weekend.
6:30pm – Evening Meal – Intro to Coaching with Julie – Begin making a Mission Statement!
7:00-8:30pm – Core Values Exploration and Journaling Practice around the bonfire.
Saturday September 12th
8:30am – Breakfast bar opens – coffee/tea/juice and assorted breakfast favorites.
9:00am – Arrival Practice – Mindfulness with Julie
9:30-11:30 am – What is Perimenopause? It’s more than just hot flashes! – with Dr. Hathaway
11:30-1:30pm – Lunch – Creating a pause and cultivating calm in the midst of midlife – Julie
1:30-3:00pm – Peri and Menopause Symptom Management, HRT and more. – Dr. Hathaway
3:00-6:00pm – Free time to explore Missoula and the surrounding area or join a group session.

- Nourish yourself by heading to one of the many nearby hiking trails and rivers.
6:00-7:30 – Evening Meal – Let’s talk about sex! Low Libido & Painful Intercourse – Dr. Hathaway
7:30-8:30 – Bonfire Time – Letting Go and Acceptance Practices – Revisit Intentions – Julie
8:30pm – Dance Party! Bring your song requests and Sparkly outfits!
Sunday September 13th

9:30-11:00am – Strong from the Inside Out: Building Muscle and Bone for the Long Game – Lisa
11:00-12:00pm – Eat to Thrive: Using Food as Your First Medicine – Lisa
12:00-2:00pm – Lunch – Living Life in Alignment – Letting go and setting boundaries – Julie
2:00-3:00pm – Making a Plan – Owning your Agency – Setting your intentions going forward. Revisit your Mission Statement – Dr. Hathaway, Julie and Lisa
3:00pm – Closing Mindfulness Practice – Building Self Compassion
